You may be able to out-train a bad routine, but you can't out-train lack of motivation!

With his unique brand of coaching and online training, Nick offers to tackle both! A former national-level athlete himself with both French and Welsh championship titles to his name, Nick has been working with elite competitors and complete beginners alike for the last 20 years. And with over 30 years of training and competing under his belt, Nick has learnt all the tricks of the trade to keep his practice fresh, to stave off injury, and to keep himself motivated!

Whilst he recognizes the limitations of online coaching, Nick has worked hard on developping programs and support systems for those who do not have easy access to the expertise and guidance they require. He currently offers two types of online training programs (scroll down for extended descriptions):

- a home bodyweight routine, based around the StartBodyweight program, tailored to your goals and including video analysis and skype consultations. This program requires very minimal equipment.

- a sports or goal-specific, fully customized routine which takes advantage of the facilities you have available to you. Nick's areas of expertise include:
strength training for: martial arts and boxing, parkour and freerunning, dancing, climbing, surfing and other watersports ; strength training for runners, injury prevention and running programs ; and weight loss.


Home-based, bodyweight training programme

Duration: 12 weeks, in 4 weeks blocks

Description:
Resistance is resistance, no matter whether it comes from lifting iron, or from your own bodyweight! Get the same proven results you would from a gym-based strength program while training from home!
Whether you want to lose weight or pack on muscle, this is possible without ever setting foot into a gym (and at 44 years old, Nick has the photos to prove it!).
This try-and-tested twelve week program is designed to help you move away for school yard calisthenics and ineffective cardio workouts, and set you out on your journey towards a true bodyweight strength training program, which can be tailored to anything from weight-loss to muscle building, from better movement and mobility to functional strength.

Designed for:  Complete beginners and intermediate athletes, who are looking for a no nonsense routine they can perform anywhere.

Goals: Lose fat, build muscle, increase strength and agility. Work towards bodyweight feats of strength.

Requirements: A pull up bar, or a place to do pull ups from ; a sturdy table, or sturdy chairs and a broom handle (for horizontal pulls)

FAQs:
- What kind of workouts will I receive?
Strength based workouts tailored to your needs, based on bodyweight exercise progressions, which can be integrated within the rest of your training.

- How many hours will I need to train?
Between 3 times 45 mins a week, and 3-5 times 1 hour 15 mins a week, depending on your aims and the time available.

- Can the program be done at home?
Yes, the program can be performed anywhere, as long as you have a place to do pull ups from (or at least work towards them).

- Do I need to be able to perform a pull up?
No, but we'll certainly be aiming to get you there!

- Can you work with other sports other than those listed here?
Of course. However I am sometimes reluctant to work sports I am not intimately familiar with. My programs best suit athletes looking at optimizing their power-to-weight ratio, so if this is your case, contact me at the email address below to discuss your specific needs.

- How many hours will I need to train?
This is entirely dependant on how much time is available to you. I will however make suggestions as to what seems reasonable for your stated goals during the initial interview.
